Rosalie Faye Stone, 86 of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024. She was born January 28, 1938 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Charles Olin and Eda Edna (Wilner) Gunyon. Rosalie was a US Navy Veteran, a nurse doing research at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland and a nurse with IU Medical Center doing research. On November 27, 1963 she married Ray I. Stone, who preceded her in death July 30, 2021. Surviving are her children, Rhonda (Peter) Annen and Ray Stone all of Valparaiso, grandchildren, Kyle Annen, Paige Stone, Rachael Cabello and Rebecca Annen, great grandchildren, Joseph Ray, Genesis Rose, Bellamy Zealand, Oscar Yamil, Noah Ramundo, Theta Elsie and Mila Raine, and one on the way and a sister Mary Finkbiner of Valparaiso. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother David Gunyon. Private family services will be held in Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
