Lisa Diane Kesner, 54, of Weston, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.


Lisa was born in Gassaway on March 6, 1970, a daughter of the late Leland Kesner and Linda Vanhorn Kesner. In addition to her parents, Lisa was also preceded in death by the love of her life, Alfred Seabolt; and her loyal K-9 companion, George.


Lisa was a spirited and adventurous soul who loved to travel. She found joy in exploring new places and cultures, a passion that will forever be remembered by her beloved daughter, Melissa Seabolt of Columbus, OH; one brother, Michael Kesner of Weston; and one sister, Janet Hatfield of Huntington. As Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel" - and Lisa made everyone feel loved and cherished.


Known for her smart wit, compassionate nature, and funny spirit, Lisa was a beacon of light to all who knew her. A graduate of Lewis County High School in the Class of 1988, Lisa furthered her education at West Virginia University, earning her Bachelor's Degree in 1993.


Lisa’s request for Cremation has been honored at Pat Boyle Funeral Home’s On-Site Crematory. A Family and Friends Gathering will be held at Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel.
