Funeral service for Tommy Eugene Stevens Sr. 62 of Oxford, will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Jones will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Tommy passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at his home with his family by his side. He is preceded in death by his mother, Francis Elizabeth Horne; father, Shirley Junior Stevens; brother, Ricky Stevens, sister, Candi Stevens; and his niece, Pricilla Stevens.

He is survived by his children, Melissa Stevens, Tommy Stevens Jr. (Brittany), and Savannah Stevens (Cole Duncan); grandchildren, Brayley Duncan, Roman Stevens, and Baylor Duncan; brothers, Bruce Stevens (Jennifer), Rodney Stevens (Melissa), sister, Rita Turley; nieces and nephews, Little Rick, Amanda, Amy, Lil Bruce, Kristy, Scott, and Garrett.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Stevens Jr., Bruce Stevens, Cole Duncan, Ronnie Wells, Mason Stevens, and Kamari English.

Tommy was the vice president of manufacturing for Auto Custom Carpet. He retired after 40 years of service. He lived and breathed Alabama Football. He loved golfing with friends and family. He enjoyed spending time with family and loved ones. Tommy was a jokester, loved to laugh and was always cutting up. He collected baseball and football cards. He was an excellent athlete, he loved music and woodwork. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be deeply missed.
