Linda Ann Terrell Obituary

With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved Linda Terrell, the most kind and loving woman.  She passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Linda was a blessing born on December 20, 1949, in Guilford County to her father, (late) Reitzel V. Turner and (late) Ila Mae Lapradd.  She was a cherished baby sister to her (late) brother, Vernon Turner and then became an older sister to (survived by) brother, Terry Turner and sister, Tina Williard.  She later became a loving wife to her (late) husband, Tim Terrell.  She was aunt to many nieces and nephews who know and love her as “Sissy”.

Linda was full of life and love that was felt by everyone she met, and you’d never catch her in a bad outfit.  She was a fabulous woman in so many ways.

Linda was deeply devoted to the store she and her husband Tim had built from the ground up, Twin Roads Food Mart, which served the community for over 40 years.  It was a rare occasion that you visited the store and weren’t greeted by Linda’s smiling face.  She was a strong and dedicated woman and loved by so many who frequented Twin Roads.

Along with the store and her family, Linda had a big heart for animals, especially her dogs.  She rescued many and made sure to give them the best life.

Linda was the most kind-hearted, vibrant woman who was truly a gift to have in your life.  Her love was unconditional and made the world a brighter place.  Her loss is a deep one that leaves a hole in our hearts.  She will be forever remembered, greatly loved and deeply missed by her family and the many lives she touched.

To celebrate Linda’s life a Gathering of Family and Friends is scheduled at Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Drive in High Point on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.  The family will receive guests to share memories from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  A private committal will be held at a later date.

In addition to or in lieu of flowers, please donate to Animal Rescue and Foster Program in memory of Linda’s love for animals.

To share a memory or send a condolence gift, please visit the Official Obituary of Linda Ann Terrell hosted by Cumby Family Funeral Service.
