Tracy Lee Daniels Obituary

Tracy "Woody" Daniels, age 64, of Centralia, Missouri passed away on July 6, 2024 at his home. He was born on January 12, 1960 in Quincy, Illinois; a son of Billy and Carolyn Sue Daniels.

He attended Quincy Senior High in Quincy, IL and was part of the Class of 1978 and then attended Lincoln College in Lincoln, IL. Tracy was a "Jack of all trades". For a time, he worked as a metal recycler before he found his true passion. Tracy began chainsaw wood sculpting and never looked back. He traveled all over the United States for art shows, fairs, and carving competitions to show off his amazing skill. He loved traveling and made friends everywhere he went. He left an impression on everyone he met. He was larger than life!

He enjoyed riding his Harley and attending Bike Rallies where he did a lot of his carving. Going to Sparks in Oklahoma was one of his favorite places to be. He loved watching Mizzou sports and all varieties of basketball, from college to the NBA. He also loved to listen to his Rock-n-Roll!

Tracy is survived by his sons, Daren and Dakota Daniels; step-daughters, June Rice, Barbie Mefford, and Victoria Will; and a step-son Victor Will; brothers, David (Tina) Daniels, Patrick (Lynn) Ridder, Billy Ridder, Mike (Tammi) Ridder and Russell Daniels; and sisters, Pamela Daniels and Paula (Randy) England as well as several nieces and nephews.
