Dennis James Powers Obituary

Dennis James Powers, 76, of Purcellville VA went on to be with the Lord at 10:15 am on July 8th of 2024.

Dennis was the proud owner of Powers Homes Construction Company and The Skyline Boys Quartet. He sang over the years with multiple groups . He was in the Southern Gospel music for over 53 years and during that time he became a main owner in the NQC, the Southern Gospel Music Guild, as well as a Co-Owner to Journey Records out of Nashville, Tennessee.

When Dennis wasn’t building or singing, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. His favorite pastimes were being on the river with his family, being in the woods hunting deer and spending a lot of time visiting and riding around with three of his grandkids, Brantley, Lily and Gracie in his antique cars.
