Jeri Marlene Coleman Obituary

Jeri Marlene “Baby Jeri” McCary Coleman, 43, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Monday, July 8, 2024. She was born September 2, 1984 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Jeri attended Lakeview Middle School and James Street Christian Academy in Rossville, Georgia. She was of the Baptist faith,  a manager with Rib and Loin and was the co-owner and operator of a painting/construction company. She enjoyed crafts, music, painting, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her two furbabies, Monster and Chenal.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Wayne McCary, and brother, Justin Wayne McCary.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Edna McCary, two sons, Phoenix and Dakota McCary, brother, Jerry (Deidra) McCary, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Friday with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory.

A private interment will be held at a later date at Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park Rossville, Georgia.
