Virginia Gay Haase Obituary

It is with great sadness that Virginia Gay Haase surrounded by her family went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2024 at the age of 85. She was born on November 14, 1938 to Frederick and Margarite Pitcher. She was a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, New York. Virginia was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and her family.

Virginia enjoyed reading her Bible daily with her morning coffee, taking lots of pictures, crossword puzzles, gardening, baking, camping, sitting by the campfire, long walks on the beach, looking for her favorite seashells. But the love of her life was her beloved family and her two loving dogs, Annie and Margarite. Virginia worked at Western Printing working as a secretary. She went on to start her family and be a devoted mother.

She is survived by her six children. Edmund Haase Jr., Margaret Hewitt (David), Rebecca Valerio (John), Heidi Cohen (David), Ronald Haase, Jennifer Usewicz (Edward). Also, who she considered her three extra daughters; Sandra K. Viani, Nikki Ferese, and her Italian daughter, Paula Dubetsky Her grandchildren, Christina Haase, Kelly Ferens (Robert), Ethan Cohen (Cassie), Ryan Cohen, Zachary Cohen, Lucas Cohen, Olivia Valerio, Gianna Valerio, Dylan Usewicz, Noah Usewicz. Her Great grandchildren, Tegan, Kaydence, Kinzlee, Lucian, Catalina, Vaeda, and her loving & dear sister Carol Ann Pitcher.

Thou Shalt Love The Lord Thy God With All Thy Heart And With All Thy Soul And With All Thy Mind. This Is The First And Greatest Commandment. Matthew 22:37+38
