Evelyn “Joyce” Huszarik Obituary

Evelyn “Joyce” Huszarik, age 81, of Jonesville, passed away at Hillsdale Hospital on Sunday, July 7, 2024. She was born on April 5, 1943, to Guyles and Mittie (Bush) Agy in Houston County, Tennessee. She married Ron J. Huszarik on May 20, 1961, and he survives.


Joyce went to Southwestern High School in Detroit and went on to become a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Once the kids grew up, she worked for Quincy Stamping then Martinrea for 17 years. Joyce enjoyed shopping in her free time and loved a good crossword puzzle. She was known for sending handwritten cards to all her children and grandchildren for any birthday or holiday you could think of. She loved to stay updated with the grandchildren with pictures and messages sent to her.


Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ron Huszarik; four children, Lynne (Randy) Coplin, Ron (Beverly) Huszarik Jr., John (Karen) Huszarik, and David (Brenda) Huszarik; six grandchildren, Kristie, Kyle, Nathan, Katie, Paige, and Parker; and three great-grandsons.


Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, and 10 siblings.


There will be no funeral service for Evelyn Joyce Huszarik at this time. There will be private services for the family at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home.


Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
