Mary Kay T. Boyle Sincavage Obituary

A Somerdale native, Mary Kay Boyle Sincavage (Burns) passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. Born the third of five children by Joseph J. Burns and Theresa Burns (Dwyer) on September 13, 1951. Beloved wife of Edward J. Sincavage for 5-years and the late Charles Boyle and John Britt. Devoted mother of Annemarie Britt (Eddie Fisher) and Patricia Kusch (Paul). While life wasn't always easy, Mary Kay was a steady presence for Anne and Patti. She was their rock and the person they most admired. Already a beloved mother, Mary Kay reveled in her role as grandmother to her lovebugs Joseph Britt-Simpson, Nicholas and Ryleigh Kusch, Sara and Anna Nicoletti and Eddie, Dylan, and Matthew Fisher.

Mary Kay grew up between her elder brothers, Thomas Burns (Cathy), Dennis Burns, Patrick Burns, and the late Joseph T. Burns. Mary Kay began her career in Finance, working as a New Jersey State Bank Examiner. Outside of work, she was as devoted to her family as she was to her faith and flower beds. In April 1973 Mary Kay married her first husband, Jack Britt. The two later separated, however, Mary Kay remained close to the entire Britt family: Christine Mohan (Mike), Bill Britt (Fran), Joe Britt (Donna), Bob Britt (Donna), and the late Dottie Britt. Mary Kay is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will always be remembered for her kind and generous spirit. More so, she will be remembered for her innate ability to make those around her feel special and loved.

Later in life, Mary Kay married her husband of five years, Edward J. Sincavage, on June 1, 2019. Mary Kay gaining her bonus children, Becky Sincavage (Tim Nicoletti) and Bryan Sincavage, and more brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and friends to love. Together, Mary Kay and Ed volunteered at the Walnut Street Theater, traveled around the US and abroad, and celebrated birthdays, weddings, many softball, lacrosse games, volleyball matches, swim meets, dance recitals, and musicals as they could. Mary Kay and Ed remained devoted to each other to the very end.

Mary Kay wanted to make a special acknowledgment to the entire Kusch family for sharing their time, family, joy, and great-grandchildren! The Kusch family have been part of her life for the last thirty years.

The viewing for Mary Kay will take place this Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 10:15am until 11:45am in the St. Agnes, Our Lady of Hope Parish on Coles Road and Little Gloucester Road, Peters Ln, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
