Dan S. Yoder, 71 years old, of Huntsburg, Ohio passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, July 10th, 2024 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Middlefield, Ohio on February 21st, 1953 to the late Simon J. and Martha (Miller) Yoder. Dan later married his best friend and love of his life, Ada (Miller) Yoder on June 12th, 1975. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.  

He will be dearly missed by: his loving wife of 49 years, Ada; children, Joe (Mary Ann) Yoder, Andy (Alma) Yoder, Martha (John) Fisher, Lovina (Crist) Kauffman, Danny (Sarah) Yoder Jr., Ervin (Rosanna) Yoder, Simon (Martha) Yoder, Albert (Catherine) Yoder, Susie (Chester) Miller, Raymond (Irene Sue) Yoder, Ada (Wayne) Yoder, Ida (John III) Miller, Kathryn (Marvin) Yoder, Sadie (James) Miller, David Yoder, Betty (William) Gingerich; daughter-n-law, Ruth Yoder; 92 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 5 brothers; 7 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Dan is preceded in death by: his parents and son, Jacob Yoder.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 9:00 AM, SATURDAY, JULY 13TH, 2024 AT 12918 CLAY ST., MIDDLEFIELD, OH with Bishop Jake S. Kauffman officiating. Pallbearers will be David Bender, Elwin Ray Troyer, Uria Bender, and Joe Kauffman. Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service at 12989 Clay St., Middlefield. Dan’s final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery, Huntsburg, Ohio.
