Bobby Gene Traylor Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bobby Gene Traylor on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at his home in New Richmond, Ohio after a valiant fight with illness. Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years Judy (O’Neal) Traylor, son Robert Traylor, daughters Susan Traylor and Jennifer (Adam) Wolf, grandchildren Christian, Maleah, Declyn, Brayden, and Jude, brothers Donald (Helen) Traylor and Larry Traylor, sisters Sue (Max) Burris and Joyce (Tom) Willhoff, his beloved goldendoodle Pearl, and numerous family and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Beulah (Jones) Traylor and sister Linda (Will) Honaker. Bob was born May 17, 1957 and was a lifelong resident of New Richmond, Ohio. Bob enjoyed yardwork, household projects, bird-watching, Cincinnati sports, and building model cars. Bob’s greatest passion and first priority in life was always his family, especially spending time with and spoiling his five grandchildren who lovingly called him Pap and Papaw. Visitation will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home at 177 West Amelia Street, Amelia, Ohio on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 9:30am-11am, with funeral services to follow, and graveside services at Pierce Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) or Hospice of Cincinnati are appreciated.
