Charles Colin “Poss” Kelley, 78 of Grayson, went to be with his lord on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Poss, child of the late Jessie James Kelley and Charlotte Adams Kelley, was born November 6, 1943, in Grayson, KY. After 40+ years of serving the coal industry, Poss retired from Appalachian Fuels in 2009. Although he loved serving Appalachian coal, his true love was the freedom of drag racing. Owning at least five cars, Poss raced for 40 years, all over the tri-state area, further developing his love for NASCAR. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Geraldine Damron Kelley, daughter Kimberly (Clyde) Callihan of Grayson, son, Shawn (Mantha) Kelley of Grayson, sisters, Jessie Allen of MI, Barbara (Harold) Nolan of MI, and Marcella (Tony) Allam of MI, brothers, Eddie (Joy) Kelley of KY, and Peyton Kelley of MI, grandchildren, Patrick Callihan, Madison Kelley, Dawson Kelley, SarahJo Callihan, Isaiah McDavid and Moses Callihan.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 6, 1:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Brother Ron Arnett, minister. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
