Jeannete Rose Crawford Obituary

GREENFIELD-Jeannette Rose (Perreault) Crawford, 93, formerly of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Jeannette was born on October 23, 1928, the second child and eldest daughter of the late Cleophas and Rose (Landry) Perreault. She was raised and educated in Chicopee. Jeannette was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in East Springfield and a member of the Parish Women’s Council.  She married James W. Crawford on September 25, 1954 and they enjoyed 35 years of happiness and loving memories. Jim passed away in 1989. Prior to relocating to Greenfield, Jeannette lived for four years at Providence Place in Holyoke where she enjoyed the company of many friends. She was predeceased by several siblings; Robert, Edward and Donald Perreault, Doris Shevlin, Elaine Gauthier and Shirley Lamb. She is survived by her brother; Richard Perreault and her sister-in-law, Julia Perreault both of Ludlow. Auntie Jeannette, or simply AJ as she was known will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews as well as her cousins. After many years apart, Jeannette is now reunited with her true love “Jimmy”.

THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON TUESDAY EVENING FROM 4 TO 6 P.M.  AT TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME, 159 BROADWAY ST., CHICOPEE.   FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE WEDNESDAY MORNING GATHERING AT TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME AT 9 A.M. FOLLOWED BY A LITURGY OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL AT 10 A.M. AT MARY MOTHER OF HOPE CHURCH, 840 PAGE BLVD., SPFLD. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN ST. PATRICK’S CEMETERY, FULLER RD., CHICOPEE.
