Barry Joe Elliott, 76, of Rush went to be with his Lord Sunday August 7, 2022 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Barry was born March 27, 1946 in Grayson, KY a son of the late George Oreacle, Sr. and Opal Jones Elliott. In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by two brothers, Oreacle Elliot, Jr. and Bobby Elliott. Barry was a boilermaker with the Local 40 and a pipefitter with Local 262 out of Junaeu Alaska. Barry loved working with horses and going to horseshows. Barry loved his family with all his heart. Barry is survived by his loving wife, Roseann Williamson Elliott; two daughters, Tammy Anderson of Ashland and Alli Williams Elliott of Rush; two sons, Barry “Bub” Joseph (Dawn) Elliott of Sandy Hook and Tracey (Kelli) Elliott of Olive Hill; six grandchildren, Emily Elliott, Jake Gufford, Anthony Trevor Sanders, Rhiannon Douglas, Jalen Nichols and Hannah Mosteller ; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Anna Maude of Maryland and Dixie Elliott of Florida; and a host of friends and family who all mourn his passing. Graveside services will be 1 pm Thursday August 11, 2022 at the Cater Cemetery on Beckwith Branch Road with Bradley Cotten officiating.
