Pauline Marie Dupuis Obituary

Our Pauline, Mom, Meme, passed peacefully in her sleep on July 19, 2022.

She is survived by her children Eleanor, Maria, Frances. Robert and Peter. Her grandchildren, Alex Barlow, Abbie Barlow, Luke Barlow, Mary Dupuis, Jennifer Dupuis and Nila Dupuis. Preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Eleanor Gillies, her sister, Rose Marie Morand, and husband, Romeo Dupuis.

She always saw the best in everyone and looked through life with rose colored glasses. She had a love for nature and every kind of animal. Her favorite being turtles. Some of her favorite past times were, spending hours by our pond watching the fish, vacationing at the cabin in the woods, taking long drives down Jefferson, and going to every Tigers game she could. She loved baseball! Just to name a few.

She had an extensive 25-year career taking care of others. Working with challenged adults in group homes. In addition to a long career at American House, caring for the elderly. She was always dedicated to the care of others.

She will be missed deeply. But will now go on to live peacefully and happily with Romeo (Dad, Pepe), and all those who loved her dearly. Until we meet again, we’ll always remember “Behind every grey cloud there's a silver lining".

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.
