Yolanda Cardona de Rodriguez – A beloved sister, wife, and mother was, born January 12, 1952 – passed August 8, 2022 at the age of 70 years young. She was Born in Manuel Doblando, Guanajuato, Mexico and moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1970 at 18 years old.  Where she met Arturo Cardona and were married September 18, 1972. They moved to Houston Texas in 1982 and became a US Citizen in 1984.

She now joins her daughter Claudia Cardona, her parents Salvador and Antonia, and her father & mother-in-law Santos & Francisca, as well as her nephews Alex & Eddy.

She will live on in the memory of her husband, Arturo, her children Albert, Jorge, & Shelli. As well as their Spouses, Marilu, Vanessa, John, and her grandchildren - Xavier, Genesis, Victor, Raven, Valentina, Celeste & Ashton. Her Brothers & Sisters – Hortencia, Arturo, Graciela, Martha, Salvador, Martin, Annabeth, and Faustino and their families. Her in-laws – Hortencia, Estella, Mario, Robert, Jaime, Sylvia, Rene and their families. And more than 118 Nephews, Nieces, and cousins.

This remarkable women came to this country without knowing the language and taught herself English, and computer programing. Then quickly moved up the corporate ladder.  She was a perfectionist who demanded nothing less than that from herself, her employees, and her children. But more than that, she was a kind-hearted woman who was beloved and respected by everyone who knew her.
