Linn Arthur Sisson Obituary

Linn Arthur Sisson, 82, of New Haven CT, passed away at his home Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Linn was born in West Haven, CT on December 3, 1939. He graduated from High School and proceeded to serve in the U.S. Navy. After the Navy he entered the Banking industry where he retired as a V.P. from The Bank of Boston. Linn also owned a restaurant with his son James Sisson.

He enjoyed travelling with his wife Ann, Horse Racing, visiting Saratoga and fishing with his sons, playing golf, swimming and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was also involved in coaching kids’ basketball, and was a member of the New Haven Elks Club.

Linn is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ann Sisson; his children, Cheryl Duro, Sean Sisson, and Debra Sisson; six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Linn is preceded in death by his son James Sisson.

Visitation will be held at Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm St, West Haven CT on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM. A Mass will be held at St. Aedan & Brendan Church, 112 Fountain St, New Haven, CT on the same day at 12 PM. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery on Derby Ave, West Haven CT.
