Ben Alexander Childers, 24 of Rossville passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022. He was born on May 4, 1998 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Ben enjoyed cowboy action shooting, fishing, riding horses and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Carolyn Woody; grandfather, Al Seiler and grandfather, Bill Childers.

He is survived by his father, Greg (Keresa) Childers; mother, Jill Cheek; grandmother, Catherine Seiler; brother, Sam Rekus-Johnson; sister, Mattye Rekus-Johnson; uncle, Mike (Jan) Childers; aunt, Lauren (Mickey) Cummings and uncle, Matt (Carissa) Woody.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolence Fund at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 11-2 PM Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
