Karen Deanne Parker, 64, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022. She was born April 2, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to Bobby Ray Watson and Virgie Puryear Watson. She graduated from Vaiden Whitley High School in 1976 and went to work in insurance. She retired from Ohio Casualty Group. Karen was a devoted wife, mother, nana, sister and friend to so many and will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her husband, Ira Grayson Parker; daughter, Renee Dawn Parker; son, Marshall Ray Parker; grandchildren: Brendan, Damian, Victoria, Chasten, Scarlett, Landon, Britton, Preston, Abel, Kenai, Kegan, and Hazel; great-grandson, Phoenix; parents: Bobby and Virgie Watson; brother, Keith Watson; sister, Kathy Brown; cousin/sissy: Denece Watson McGehee and a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Renee Parker, 13293 W Old Spring Hope Road, Middlesex, NC 27557.
