Harvey Curtis Knowles Obituary

Harvey Curtis Knowles, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2022. Born on October 3, 1931 in Madera, Harvey lived in California his entire life with the exception of his time in the US Navy. He married Joan Corriveau in 1960, settling in Fresno and then the Bay Area. His final years were spent in his childhood hometown of Madera.

A salesman, Harvey was quick to put people at ease and loved to make them laugh. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed skiing, fishing and hunting. Harvey loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and his favorite times were spent with family and friends. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan in 2009.

He is survived by his brother Robert Knowles, his wife Kathy, sister Kay Knowles Stringfield, daughter Jennifer Pansing and her husband Mark, son Michael Knowles and his wife Dana, as well as five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at the San Joaquin National Cemetery (32053 West McCabe Road, Santa Nella CA 95322) at 9:30am promptly on August 26, 2022.
