Anthony Charles “Pig” Brown Sr., 71, of Grandfield, OK, passed away on August 20, 2022, in Wichita Falls, TX.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at Gray Funeral Home in Grandfield, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2022, at First Baptist Church Grandfield with Pastor Chester King of House of Prayer Church, officiating.   Burial will follow at the Grandfield Cemetery. Arrangements are by Gray Funeral Home.

Anthony was born in Grandfield, OK to Anthony “Buddy” Brown Jr. and Artis (Walker) Brown on May 13, 1951.  He graduated from Grandfield High School in 1971 and attended Cameron University.  Anthony and Lucinda (Cindy) Torries married May 13, 1981, in Burkburnett, TX.  He was a career truck driver. He began his career driving for his dad’s company, Brown Trucking, and then drove for Preston Dairy for many years. He also drove for CO-OP Services, Wood Farms, and Whittington & Son Farms.  Anthony was a Mason with the Crystal Gate Lodge. He was a member of House of Prayer Church in Grandfield, OK. 

Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Noah “Buster” Brown and Luther Brown, his sisters, Willie Mae Jones, Mabel Chance, and Beatrice Jackson Brown, grandson Nathan Elias Brown, and great-granddaughter Aaliyah Nolan.

Anthony is survived by his wife Lucinda, sons: Michael (Misti) Torries, John Dwight Torries, and Anthony Charles “Binky” Brown Jr.(Nieya) his daughters: Tammy (Alvin) Austin, Cheryl Grange, Classie (Virgil) Nolan, Danica (Matt) Brown, and Danyale Brown, brothers: Lawrence “Dubby” Brown and Billy Ray Brown and sister: Vivian King, grandchildren: Vanessa, Justin, Terra, Sky, Aaron, Brianna, Monique, Trinity, Anthony Charles (III), Izorea, Akira, Isaiah, Caleb, Alanne, Serenity, Aiyana, Avery, Joshua, Kymbre, Kade, Myles, Addison, Jaycee, Noah, Royal, and Emersyn, eleven great-grandchildren and numerous additional family and special friends. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Grandfield Ambulance Service and Grandfield Volunteer Fire Department in honor of Anthony Brown.
