Gene Kenneth Johnson, Jr. “Buddy” 56, of Rossville passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at his home.  He was a native of Colorado and had lived in the Rossville area for 13 years.  He was a truck driver by trade having worked for TJ Hunt Trucking for several years.  He loved his family, fast cars, and being a truck driver.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Kenneth Johnson, Sr.; mother, Gladys Johnson; and brother, Lamar Johnson.

 

Survivors include his wife, Pam Johnson; children, Justin Johnson and Meagan Ranay; step-children, Shannon Hutcheson and Sonja Hutcheson; sister, Annette Sanders; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 6:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with his grandson, Justin Ownby officiating and grandson, Tyler Ownby bringing the Eulogy. Opening comments will be by Morgan Ownby.

 

The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00p.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
