James Leonard Shackelford passed from this life on July 5, 2024. He was born on July 23, 1967, in Waldron, Arkansas to George Leonard and Sharlet Ray (Simmans) Shackelford.

James was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his companion, Paula Guess, of Hartford, Arkansas; his daughter, Jamie Knight (Chad) of Edmond, Oklahoma; his three grandchildren; Raidyn, Finnley, and Dash; one brother, Johnny Shackelford of Hartford, Arkansas; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Sharlet Shackelford.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Hartford Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
