Clifford E. Pixley III, 52, of 5th Street, died Saturday, July 6, 2024, at home. He was the loving husband of Dodie (Horelick) Pixley. Born in Manchester, CT, he was the son of Clifford and Connie (Foster) Pixley both of Willimantic, CT.


Clifford was a self-employed building contractor for many years. He would always be fixing something around the house or taking care of his lawn that he took great pride in. He was also an avid fan of NASCAR and could be rooting for Kyle Larson with his beloved dog Dozer by his side.


In addition to his wife and parents, Clifford is survived by his children Cara Berwick of Hebron, CT, Clifford E Pixley, IV, of Moosup, and Samantha Carmichael of Moosup; his step-son, Joe Afonso of Wilmer, AL, his brother, Matthew Pixley of Waterford, CT, and his sister, Robin Gamache of Hopeville, CT, ten grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He was predeceased by his sister, Kim Pixley
