Karen A. (Caputo) Canale, 74, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024, at the Glens Falls Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Born February 15, 1950, in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marco and Florence (Cullinan) Caputo.

Karen graduated from South Glens Falls High School and received an Associates Degree in Business from St. Michael’s College.

She was employed as a claims adjuster by Continental Insurance Company in Glens Falls for many years and worked as a healthcare aide.

Karen cherished time with family and friends, loved cooking, and hosting gatherings. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed listening to the Rolling Stones and Neil Diamond. Above all, Karen was devoted to her family.

In addition to her parents, Karen is predeceased by her sister Marcia Caputo.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richie Canale (Natalie) and Cara Mia Canale, her grandchildren, Maximus, Mariela, Sunny, Ivy, and Eden, her brothers, Mark Caputo (Kathy) and Michael Caputo, as well as her nieces and nephews, Anna, Julia, Vinny, Michael, and Rachael.

Friends may call from 10-11am on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11am following the calling hour with the Very Rev. Joseph G. Busch officiating.

Rite of Committal will follow the services at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Fort Edward, NY.
