Richard A. Erne, 55, of Toledo passed away at his home on Friday, July 5, 2024.

Richard was an electrician for 30 years and a member of IBEW Local 8. He was also a member of Point Place United Church of Christ and loved fishing and hunting

He was born January 29, 1969 in Toledo to William E. and Carol (Gundlach) Erne.

Richard is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kristie (Schrader) Erne; daughters, Elizabeth (Nolan Cramer)Erne and Caroline Erne; brother, David Erne, an Aunt, MaryLou Fiala, as well as many other extended family members.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. A memorial service will begin in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Jon Komperda, presiding.
