Tom Mills Obituary

Tom Mills, age 72 of Knoxville, TN, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Joseph Mills and Eleanor Kulkaski Mills; brother, John V. Mills; sister-in-law, Sara Mills; and brother-in-law, Dennis Berney.


His survivors include: wife of 40 years, Karen Mills; son, Eric Mills; brother, Ken Mills and wife Brenda; several nieces and nephews, and special buddy Butch.


Tom was an avid golfer from the time he was a young boy. He was a pro at one time and after he retired, he was on the course whenever he possibly could. in his last 10 years of golfing he had 7 holes-in-one. He was an extremely active member of Oakwood Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 4PM to 6PM Tuesday, July 9, in the chapel of Stevens Mortuary with funeral service to follow at 6PM. Officiating the service will be Rev. Chris Edmonds. The family suggests that those attending wear golf attire. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM Wednesday, July 10, at Woodlawn Cemetery for a graveside service and interment.


Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway is serving the family of Mr. Mills.
