Dolores Faye Kramer Obituary

Dolores Faye Kramer, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024, at the age of 83 in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by the love of her family. Faye, as she was known to her friends and family, was born on November 17, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Delbert and Sarah Allen.


Faye was a proud graduate of Baldwin high School and went on to enjoy a career in retail that spanned an impressive 33 years, during which she worked her way up to the position of store manager. Faye's work ethic, combined with her gentle and friendly demeanor, made her a beloved figure both among her colleagues and the customers she served.


Faye's life was a tapestry woven with love for her family and the simple joys of life. She found great happiness in watching and spending time with her grandchildren, whose activities and achievements brought her immense pride. Traveling or a trip to the casino were other passions of Faye, and she cherished the memories made while exploring new places with her beloved husband, William. Together, they created a legacy of love and adventure that will be fondly remembered by all.


Faye is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Jeanette) Kramer, William (Sharon Ennis) Kramer, and Lynda (Rick) Bandola; her cherished grandchildren, Ashley (Bill) McGivern, Lauren (Denny) Angle, Kelly Wine, Nick (Christie) McGinnis, Briana and Ricky Bandola, Kara Kramer (John Fawcett) and Emily Mallick; and her great grandchildren, whom she adored, Drake, Paityn, Austin, Brady, and Olivia. Faye also leaves her sister, Betty (Jim) Sekely, and sisters-in-law, June Allen and Myrna Dlacich.


Faye was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, William A. Kramer; her siblings, Don (Norma) Allen, Lily (Arnold) Michler, Lois (Howard) Thorhauer, Read Allen, and Merle (Jackie) Allen; and her daughter-in-law, Ann (Hartsock) Kramer.


Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A service will be held in the chapel at the funeral home on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.


In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations in honor of Faye be made to Neurofibromatosis Clinics Association of Pittsburgh, P.O. Box 14185, Pittsburgh, PA 15239.
