Mary Frances Harper, 84, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, July 2, 2024, at River Run HealthCare, Franklin Furnace, OH.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sophia Fields Cox and her father, Charles Estil Cox; husband Earl Harper; brothers, William “Willie” Cox, Charles Eddie Cox; James Ercil Cox and a daughter, Tammy Maddix.

Those remaining to mourn her death are her children, Lisa (William) Paytner of Zanesville, OH, Wade (Pauline) Maddix of Olive Hill, KY, Russel Wayne Cox, Valerie (Brian) Nolan of South Point, OH; two sisters, Adalene (Clay) Wagner of Deering, OH and Linda (Tim) Quals of Pedro, OH; brothers, Ted (Sue) Cox of Ironton, OH, Orville Cox of Marion, OH, Johnnie (Donna) Cox of Marion, OH, Phil (Lawana) Cox of Oak Hill, OH, Don (Terrie) Cox of Pedro, OH and Bobby (Bobbie) Cox of Pedro, OH.

She also leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was always taking care of babies and she loved them all.

A very special thank you to the entire River Run Staff for the excellent care Mary received. She loved every one of you!

To honor her wishes, there will be no services. Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH, is honored to serve the family and assist with arrangements.
