Kathy Ann Robb Obituary

SOUTH GLENS FALLS

Kathy Ann (Manning) Robb, 68, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Albany Medical Center after a short battle with leukemia.

Born October 17, 1955 in Ticonderoga, NY, she was the daughter of the late Grant Manning Sr. and Mary (Altieri) Manning.

Kathy graduated from Ticonderoga High School. On October 27, 1984, she married Lee Robb, and was employed for many years at the Hudson Falls Central School District. She adored working as a teacher’s aide.

Kathy was extremely family oriented and could often be found attending the sports games of not only her children and grandchildren, but all the nieces and nephews as well. She was their biggest cheerleader. She enjoyed being outdoors and often went camping at Moreau State Park and Rogers Rock with her family. Kathy loved cooking and baking and taking care of her numerous houseplants. She was an avid Bingo player and never missed a game on Fridays at the American Legion in Hudson Falls. Most of all, Kathy was a very generous and giving person who routinely adopted families at Christmas and helped everyone out in any way she could. There was nothing in the world more important to Kathy than her family.

In addition to her father, Kathy is predeceased by her sister, Hope Marie Manning, and her brothers, Grant “Buzz” Manning Jr., and Michael Manning.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 40 years, Lee Robb, her mother Mary Manning, her children, Lee Robb Jr. (Elizabeth), and Amanda Carpenter (Shane), her grandchildren, Olivia, Chloe (Trayvon), Bryce, and Audriana “Audi”, a great-grandchild on the way, Brynnlee Ann, her sisters, Mary Lou Brown (Mickey), Sandy LaFountain (Bud), and Cynthia Sellingham (Robert), her brother Gary Manning (Shellie), as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many close friends.

Arrangements are in the care of the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours.

A Celebration of Life for Kathy will be conducted at 3pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Idle Hour Club in Fort Edward.

Memorial donations in Kathy’s name can be made to the American Legion Post 574, 72 Pearl Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839.
