Robert R. Baker, 97, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at his home. Born to the late Lawrence & Nettie Snodgrass Baker on May 15, 1927, in Florence, PA. He was a retired steel laborer for Jones & Laughlin. In his free time, Robert enjoyed fishing and he was a Christian.

Aside from his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Cecil Baker; a son, the late Lawrence Henry Baker; a daughter, the late Theresa Lynn Baker; brothers, the late Lawrence “Bud”, Hubert, Jack, William, Harry, and Walter Baker; sisters, the late Mary Smith, the late Ruth Logue, and the late Laverta Melvin. He is survived by his sons, Robert W. Baker, of Berea and Thomas “Tom” Baker, of Lancaster; a daughter, Patricia “Pat” Baker, of Lancaster; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. As well as special thanks to his caregiver, Cheryl Kelley.
