Funeral services for Delcie Carolyn Robinson Bice, 88, of Homer, Louisiana, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in the Chapel of Bailey Funeral Home in Haynesville, LA with Rev. Brian Thurman officiating.  Interment will be in the Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Haynesville, LA

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the Bailey Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born in Homer, LA, on December 2, 1935, and passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was a woman of faith who prided herself on serving her Lord and her family. Carolyn had a green thumb and enjoyed tending her flowers and preparing meals for friends and loved ones from what she gathered from the garden. She worked as Food Service Director for First Baptist Church of Bossier for several years before retiring in 1985.

Carolyn married J.E. “Red” Bice on January 28, 1956. During their fifty years of marriage, Carolyn and Red traveled, worshiped together, and cherished one another.

Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Cleta Bynog of Benton, LA, and Teri Berger and her husband Scott of Homer, LA. She is also survived by her son, Gary Bice and his wife Pat of

Homer, LA, and Gary’s sister, Christine Bice, of Homer, LA. Carolyn was a loving grandmother who leaves grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, J.E. “Red” Bice, parents, Kirby and Myrtle Robinson, and son-in-law, John Bynog.
