Alger Lee "Bo" Brewer, 82, of Lumber City, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Community Hospice in Vidalia, Georgia. He was born on Monday, October 20, 1941, in Lumber City, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Ann Pittman Brewer; daughters, Kimberly Kay Brewer and Vicki Frankie; parents, Leroy and Essie Stalworth Brewer; and siblings, Frank Brewer, Edwin Brewer, David Brewer, Gus Brewer, and Joyce Holt.

Bo retired from Interstate Brands Corporation where he served as the CEO of Merita Breads. He was a member of Lumber City Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons - Jeff (Lynn) Brewer of Fitzgerald and Chris (Michelle) Brewer of Lumber City; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Varnadoe of Lumber City and Brenda Varnadoe of Warner Robins.

The family will receive friends and family from 1 P.M. - 2 P.M. at Lumber City Baptist Church on Sunday, June 30, 2024. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2 P.M. Rev. Ashley Tyree will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
