Passed peacefully away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at James Paton Memorial Hospital at the age of 96, nearing her 97th birthday, Mrs. Elsie Bradley.
Predeceased by her husband Orlando Bradley (August 24, 1988); daughter Judy Patten (June 9, 2011); sister Charlotte Johnson; and parents Kate and Arthur Brown.
Left to mourn are her sons Tom (Alice) and Terry (Jessica); son-in-law Alan Patten; grandchildren Neil Heffern (Denise), Chris Patten (Charlene), Amanda Fitzgerald (David), Blair Bradley (Kelly), Adam Bradley (Elena), Steven Bradley (Carla), Scott Bradley, Laura Bradley, Rebecca Bradley (Austin), Graham Dixon, Grant Dixon (Shawnee); and four great-grandchildren, Kendra Patten, Lily Heffern, Reid Heffern, and Samantha Bradley; as well as the rest of her family, Fred Brown (Doris), Genevieve (Ron Collins), Reginald (Rose), Gordon Brown (Vina), Marie Simms (Bruce -deceased).
Elsie was a strong independent woman. She loved her potato garden and was an avid knitter. She had offerings of tea and biscuits to anyone who dropped in. She was a caregiver to her family for many years. She participated in ACW and was always the rock and matriarch to the family.
