“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalms 23:4
Whenever the time comes when we all must depart from this world, we’re never alone; God almighty walks with us from our birth, throughout our life, and into the passage of death, God will never leave us or forsake us. The life of Annie Jane Jenkins Warren began on March 11, 1955, in Hampton, South Carolina, when God gave the late Mary and Robert Jenkins, this beautiful and unique bundle of joy. From childhood to death, the family realized that Annie Jane had been blessed by God with the spirit of helping others to endure impossible situations through internal faith.
Annie Jane received her formal education in the Hampton County School System and attended Estill High School in Estill, South Carolina. She accepted Christ as her Savior and the family were members of First Thankful Baptist Church where she attended faithfully until her health started failing.
Annie Jane Jenkins was united in holy matrimony with Paul Warren on March 13, 1976, in Estill, South Carolina. Their union was blessed with two children: Ferlisha Draper (Adrian) and Paul Warren, Jr. Annie Jane’s favorite colors were burgundy and blue. In her leisure, she enjoyed doing puzzles and watching TV. Her favorite shows were the Golden Girls and The First 48. She was employed with Best Manufacturing as a material handler for thirty-four years. Additionally, she was a very sweet, loyal, helpful, gracious, hardworking person that loved all as family. God’s plans are not always our plans. Making her transition as one of God’s precious angels, God spoke and said “Peace be Thine” my child; she answered his call on June 5, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Jenkins; sisters, Mattie Louise Jenkins, Rose Mary Jenkins Orr brothers, Robert, Wille Lee, George and Jerry Jenkins.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: husband, Paul Warren, Sr., of Hampton, South Carolina; daughter, Ferlisha (Adrian) Draper of Hampton, South Carolina; son, Paul Warren, Jr., of Savannah, Georgia; siblings, Kathy (Jerry) Gregley of Estill, South Carolina, Hattie (Sam) Johnson, of Bradenton, Florida, Johnny Lee (Carolyn) Hill of Estill, South Carolina, Mary Francis of Appleton, South Carolina, Beatrice Graydon of Sarasota, Florida; sisters-in-law, Regina Warren of Estill, South Carolina, Carrie Cohen, Mary Ann Duncan, and Shirley Brown all of Nixville, South Carolina, Loretta Wright and Nancy Rowe both of Savannah, Georgia; brothers-in-law, James (Cora Lee) Warren of Gifford, South Carolina, Sam and Isiah Warren both of Estill, South Carolina, Ernest (Iris) Council of North Carolina and John H.
