Maysville- Kevin M. Doyle, 41, after a month-long battle, succumbed to his injuries from a construction accident Saturday, June 22, 2024 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY, surrounded by his family. He was born in Ft. Thomas, KY on February, 3, 1983 to his loving parents, LuAnn Story Doyle and Michael Doyle.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Lauren Henry Doyle, whom he married April 24, 2004. Together they loved and raised their children, Madysen Cline, Keith (Katie) Doyle, Truett Doyle and Baylor Doyle; he was a loving and doting Pops to his grandson Bennett Doyle.
He is also survived by his sisters, Trisha (Henry) Jefferson, and Mindy (Bart) Hamilton; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Kevin) Speakman, Garrett (Leah) Rumford, Allison (Nick) Meyer, Kyle (Claire) Jefferson, Jacob Jefferson, Abby Hamilton, Ainsley Hamilton, Bryce Hamilton, Gracie Simms, and Monroe Simms; his mother and father-in-law, Bill and Helen Henry; and sister-in-law Melody (Chad) Simms. In addition to those above, he is survived by numerous other family and friends, specifically his Maysville Fire Department family.
He was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, where his family attended for over 20 years, and more recently attended Highland Christian Church. He owned and operated Unit 42 LLC with his son Keith. He also recently retired as fire chief from the Maysville Fire Department, where he served for 20 years. Kevin was well loved by many, for his leadership, sense of humor, and ability to make people feel loved and worthy. He will leave a giant void in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Mason County Fieldhouse. Burial will be at Heritage Springs Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday June 27, 2024 at Mason County Fieldhouse.
Memorials are suggested to Buffalo Trace Firefighters Association and Highland Christian Church.
