Milton R. Pollock, Jr. “Uncle Milty” of Middleton, MA passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024. He was 84 years old. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Milt was born in Danvers, MA on September 22, 1939. Son of Milton and Josie (Sheldon) Pollock. He grew up and lived his whole life in Middleton, MA. He attended school in Middleton and graduated from Danvers High School in 1957.

 Milt enlisted in the US Army in 1958 and was stationed in Fork Knox, Kentucky in 1958, in the Tank Division. He met his beloved wife, the late Joan (Skeffington) Pollock and married in 1960. Milt worked for Sid Harvey of Malden and Surrette Supply of Salem. In 1964, he joined the family business, M.R. Pollock & Son’s Inc., a livestock and auction business. Milt was still active in many aspects of his business with his brother, Ronald, and nephew, Brian.

 Milt leaves behind two daughters: Robin (Pollock) Carr and husband Paul of North Andover, Cathy Pollock of Williston, FL; sisters: Sharon (Pollock) Zerveskes and husband Vinny of Durham, NH, Dianne (Pollock) Hebert and husband Richard of Bel Air, MD; brothers: Ronald Pollock of Middleton, MA and Gerald Pollock of; Charlottetown, PEI,  granddaughters: Meghan (Carr) Brasseur and husband Joseph of North Andover, Lauren (Carr) Sughrue and husband Timothy of North Andover, Kelsey Shoemake and husband Bradley of Alaska; great-grandchildren Shay, Halle, and Carter Sughrue and Grant Brasseur, as well as many nieces, nephews and many dear friends that he also considered his “brothers.” Milt is predeceased by his parents, Milton and Josie (Sheldon) Pollock, and wife, Joan (Skeffington) Pollock.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday June 28th from 10am to 12pm at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St. Rt.114, Middleton, MA.
