Mark Alex Collier received his heavenly healing on Saturday May 11, 2024, at home surrounded by his family and friends. Mark Alex was a 22 year old brave warrior, admired and loved by all who knew him.

Mark Alex was greeted at Heaven's gates by his two sisters Brittany and Victoria Collier, his father Mark Anthony Collier, Grandfathers Bud Latham and Richard Collier Sr. As well as other family and friends gone on before him. 

He is survived by those longing to see him again, his mother Katherine Latham, his “Maw Maw” -Rita "Robbie" Jowers and Grandmother Janice Collier,  Fiancé Riley Wharton, Brothers- Nicholas Barber (Katrina), Diego Rivers (Jessica),  Elijah Butler (Tracey), Kennedy Butler and Step-mom Tori Rivers. He was a hero to his nieces Brittany Barber and Sarah Rivers and nephews Owen Barber and James Rivers. His very special Aunt by love , Traci Shirah. Along with many other special family members and friends. 

Mark Alex was an inspiration of strength to all who knew him through his battles and after facing many other medical obstacles during his lifetime. Mark Alex came  in this world fighting and fought until the very end. He will forever be remembered for his loving heart, strong will and quick wit.

Services to honor Mark Alex’s memory will be held at First Baptist Church of Bayou la Batre on May 15, 2024 beginning at 11am for visitation  and service at 1pm. Followed by interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Pallbearers honored to escort Mark Alex on his final earthly journey will be Nicholas Barber, Diego Rivers, Elijah Butler, Kennedy Butler, Justin Sinquefield, Nick Horn, Bryant Miller, Nick Knight and Vance Holifield.
