Danny Joe Taylor, 55, of Benwood, WV, passed away on June 22, 2024, in Wheeling, WV. Danny was born on February 10, 1969, in Wheeling the son of Paula "Patsy" (Smith) Taylor and the late Ronald Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father.
Danny is survived by his loving family, including his mother Patsy Taylor, brother Duwane (Lisa) Taylor, and sisters Rhonda Purpura, Kim (Bill) Yurisko, and Donna Lee. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews Frank (Stacey) Purpura, Chad (Charlotte) Purpura, Lindsay (Allan Dille) Yurisko, Alexa (Sam) Storrick, Garrett (Nicole) Yurisko, Brandon (Donna) Taylor, Zeke (Ella) Taylor, Derek (Rachel) Taylor, and Avery Lee. In addition, he will be dearly missed by his great-nieces and great-nephews Ethan, Audrey, Alex, Tripp, Elle, Grace, Carson, Cole, and Kai.
A graduate of Bishop Donahue High School, Danny enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an avid Notre Dame fan. He also cherished his time with his nieces and nephews.
Danny’s private arrangements are being handled by Altmeyer Funeral Homes.
