BETTY A. McAFEE WEST PARIS, ME – Betty A. McAfee, 89, formerly of Rumford for many years, died Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Ledgeview Living Center, West Paris, Maine. She was born in Joplin, Missouri on October 8, 1928, the daughter of Rufus A. and Anna Louise (Stewart) McAfee and had attended schools in Joplin, Missouri. Betty worked at Livermore Shoe and then at W.T. Grants as a sales clerk, then at Goodwins Dairy Bar and Restaurant and then at Freddie’s Restaurant in Rumford until retirement in 1993. Betty was married in Joplin, Missouri on October 19, 1946 to Wilfred Boivin who died August 5, 1976. Survivors include many nieces and nephews and she was predeceased by a daughter Sally Morrison and several sisters and a brother.
