Bruce E. Meyerhoffer, 85, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
Born September 1, 1938 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Elbert and Martha (McCorkle) Meyerhoffer and preceded in death by brother Robert Meyerhoffer and sister Brenda Shepler.
An electrician for Cleaver Brooks, Lebanon, he was a dedicated member, participating or working over 60 years, for the Palmyra Sportsmen’s Association. Bruce was a life member of the NRA, participated in youth wildlife education, hunters’ safety education and was a member of the Amateur Trapshooters Association. He received a 35-year dedicated service award for his service to the Pennsylvania Hunter-Trapper Education program.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years Annie L. (Frank) Meyerhoffer; sons Roger Meyerhoffer (Judy) of Palmyra and Dale Meyerhoffer (Sarah) of Hummelstown; brothers Bernie Meyerhoffer, Ray Meyerhoffer, Harvey Meyerhoffer and Gary Meyerhoffer; grandchildren Shannon Meyerhoffer Umberger (Zack), Bryan Meyerhoffer (Loren), Alyson Meyerhoffer Burnham (Dawson) and Catherine Martinez; and seven great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 24, 2024 at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
