NORTH MONMOUTH - Lottie M. Chase, 75, of North Monmouth, died Friday July 6, 2018 at her home.
She was born in Thomaston, Maine, December 20, 1942 the daughter of Maynard and Dorothy (Spear) Crockett.
Lottie served in the U.S. Army as a Medical Specialist from 1963 to 1966 and was discharged with the rank of SP5. She worked for a number of years as a sardine packer. She also volunteered as a CNA in the Rockland area. Lottie made blankets for the Salvation Army, completing over 100 in a year.
Lottie was a member of the North Monmouth Community Church and the Disabled American Veterans.
Mrs. Chase was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Chase in 1964.
She is survived by friend and special caregiver, Sandy Wells; a sister, Dianna Hardy and her partner, Leo Aubin, of Waldoboro; a niece, Roxanna Jones and her husband, Mike, of Washington and her sons, Rick and Evan Camber; nephew, Richard Royer, Jr. and his wife, Amy Royer, of Monroe and their children, Zack Armstrong and Abigail St. Valle; nephew, Rodney Royer and his wife, Corrine and his sons, Justin and Jeremy Larabee; niece, Robin Rosie, of Monroe and her children, Ryan and Alicia Rosie and many great-nieces and Great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the Monmouth Ridge Cemetery on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 12 Noon.
Arrangements are in the care of Roberts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 62 Bowdoin Street, Winthrop.
