It is with heavy hearts the family of Debbie Elaine Fox-Kingdon announces her passing.

Surrounded by family, Debbie Elaine Fox-Kingdon, beloved wife of Reg Kingdon, passed away, Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the Yorkton & District Nursing Home. She was 67 years of age.

Debbie was born August 2, 1956 in Arcola SK, to Sterling and Mary Fox. Debbie grew up in Manor SK.

Debbie met Reg Kingdon in 1985 when they were both working in Grand Prairie AB. Married in 1988, the couple settled into farm life in the Qu'Appelle Valley outside of Tantallon SK. Five children, Scott, Robert, Craig, Sydney and Jordan completed the family.

Debbie loved gardening, baking and cooking, camping, walking in the valley, spending time with her pets, and more than anything, her family.

Debbie was predeceased by her father, Sterling Fox, mother Mary Fox, and brother Joseph Fox. She will be missed and forever remembered by her husband of 35 years Reg Kingdon. Her son Scott & Staci, Skylar and Sydney. Her son Robert & Rachel. Her son Craig & Angela. Her son Sydney & Becky, Anika and Lennox. Her son Jordan & Maria, and Hazel. Her siblings, including her twin brother Danny Fox. Her aunt Mary Luyten.

Her Journey’s Just Begun

Don’t think of her as gone away,

her journey’s just begun,

Life holds so many facets,

this earth is only one,

Just think of her as resting,

from the sorrows and the tears,

In a place of warmth and comfort,

where there are no days or years,

Think how she must be wishing,

that we could know today,

How nothing but our sadness,

can really pass away,

And think of her as living,

in the hearts of those she touched,

For nothing loved is ever lost,

and she was loved so much.
