OUR BELOVED Mother Sally Root from St. Louis Michigan has passed into Glory at her Home w/ her Family on Thursday, June 6, 2024.


Sally grew up in Alma where she learned to Love & Serve her husband & community through nursing in her many years working at Gratiot Hospital, Mom’s Greatest passion was to Pray for the needs of others and study God’s word. She graduated from FLCC Bible College and began immediately to lead everyone she knew & met to her Precious Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Sally also had a great passion for cooking, she made many phone calls to all her friends & family to pray for their needs and to share favorite recipes amongst them.. Sally was an Amazing Prayer Warrior, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and friend to many.


Sally is survived by her two daughters, Bridgett, husband & Pastor David Wertz, their 3 daughters

Kaley, Deklin and Sonny.

Abbey and Regan Strand, Sese, Ryker, & Isla of Texas

Julia and Jordan Norman and their son Lincoln of Grand Rapids


Daughter Mishelle Root of Lansing & her 2 children, Alexus Root, Sienna & MaKenna Root

Sally’s Brothers Martiin and Rose Ramon and family of Frankenmuth

Joe and Mary Ramon & family of Shepherd;

Eli and Noreen & family of Florida

Sister Barbara Ramon and family of Alma

Grandson: Joe Root, Kaitlyn, Amelia, Serentiy of North Dakota

Granddaughter Danielle Root of Maine


Sally is preceded in her passing, by

Her Mother, Julie Ramon

Her beloved Husband, Vivan Root

Her son, Scott Root

Her brothers: Phillip and Mike Ramon.
