William A. Conzett Obituary

William "Bill" A. Conzett, 87, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024.

According to his wishes, no services will be held.

Bill was born on December 11, 1936 in Dubuque, Iowa, the youngest son of Alvin & Pauline (Schilling) Conzett. Bill worked his way through Loras Academy, received his B.A. from Loras College in 1959, and received his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1962. Following law school graduation, Bill was drafted into the United States Army. After his military service, Bill practiced law in Dubuque for 52 years. He had the honor to serve on multiple organizational boards throughout his career. Bill was a lovely, kind man. He was a great story teller who enjoyed his many friends and his family. He will be missed.

Bill is survived by his wife Connie, beloved dog Dallas, four step-daughters Nicole (Kevin) Mills, Karla (Corey) Davis, Shawna (Abram) McDowell and Jessica (Paul Matulis) Kerndt, eight step-grandchildren Brock Mills, Karley (Tyler) Dudding, Rielly (Ely) Mills, Ryan Davis, Evan Davis, Maia Davis, Aiden McDowell and Benson McDowell, four great step-grandsons, sister Lois O'Brien, mother-in-law Kay Jackoniski, brother-in-law Tom (DeEtta) Jackoniski, nieces Chris (Tom) Nugent and Mary Beth (Brian) Gerhard, and nephew Tom (Gina) Nankival.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty (Thomas) Glass, father-in-law John Jackoniski, and brother-in-law Robert O'Brien.
