Michael “John” Hayes 80, of Murphy, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, North Carolina. John served the United States Air Force and worked for the National Security Agency for several years. John operated an antique shop at Decker’s Flea Market for many years.
