Dolores Ann Chincheck, 90, passed away on June 13, 2024, in Charleston, WV. Dolores was born on December 26, 1933, in West Virginia, the daughter of Alfred and Anna (Zak) Branch.

In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Stanley J. Chincheck and son Stanley J. Chincheck, Jr.

Dolores is survived by her daughter Julia A. Chincheck, daughter-in-law Tammy White Chincheck, nieces Susan Chincheck and Leslie (Chincheck) Lynch, and many cousins, friends, and other loved ones.

Dolores was an artist, receiving several juried awards. She was a long-time volunteer at Catholic Charities and at her parish, St. James Catholic Church.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 21, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:45 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes Benwood-McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall St. Family and friends will also be received on Saturday, June 22, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at St. James Catholic Church, 326 Logan St, McMechen, until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm.
