Mallery, Jack Charles, age 66, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, at home surrounded by his wife Rose and family.


Funeral Services for Jack will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 1 p.m. with Rob Mortensen officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Following burial, a luncheon will be held at Reflections Reception Center. The family will greet friends on Thursday beginning at 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.


Jack was born September 24, 1957, in Alma, son of the late Jack Leo Mallery and Patricia Ann (Clark) Church. Jack married Rosaline Mogg on July 27, 1985, in Rock Rapids, Iowa. They were married 38 years and were blessed with 3 children together. Jack retired from MLT Transport where he worked for the last 12 years. He enjoyed bareback riding, leather making, reading his bible, camping, riding horses, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.


Survivors include his wife of 38 years Rosaline Mallery; children: Jennifer of Midland, Matthew Mallery (Tracey Burch), Justin Mallery, and Emmylou (Justin) Kappler all of Mt. Pleasant; sister Renee Netzley of St. Louis; brothers Michael (Cathy) Mallery of Wyoming and Larry (Michelle) Mallery of Riverdale; step-sisters Sue (Rob) Najar and Rhonda Best both of Alma; half-brother Leroy Church of St. Louis; mother Patricia Church of St. Louis; step-mother Gillene Weller of St. Louis, and mother-in-law Norma Mogg of Mt. Pleasant.; in-laws Randy Mogg of Mt.Pleasant, Rodney (Ellen) Mogg of Oklahoma, Ronda (David) McConnell of Shepherd, Robin (Jeff) Krueger of Mt. Pleasant, Rockie Mogg of Mt. Pleasant; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren & many nieces and nephews.


Jack was preceded in death by his father Jack Leo Mallery; father-in-law Reynold Mogg; brother Brian Mallery; grandparents Clayton & Mary Clark, Leo & Mary Mallery and step- father Dane Church.
