Marjorie Eleanor Marconi Obituary

Marjorie Marconi (Crisman) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 11, 2024, after a long illness. Marjorie was born in Pierre, South Dakota on February 5, 1934. She moved to San Pedro at a young age and went on to meet and marry the love of her life, Rino Marconi Sr. who she was married to for 61 years.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Arbutus Crisman, brothers, Jimmy and Leo Crisman, husband, Rino Marconi Sr., son, Rino Marconi Jr., and grandson Anthony Alexander.


Marjorie was very active in her children’s lives and involved with Leland Street Elementary PTA, San Pedro Junior All American Football, Bobby Sox Softball, Blue Birds and Camp Fire Girls.


Together with her husband Rino, they owned Hillside Liquor for 17 years. The biggest joy of her life was being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.


She is survived by daughters Vicky (Richard) Dupont, Michelle (Billy) Alexander, and Debra Vega; grandchildren Louie (Megan) Dupont, Raquel (Mark) Pabst, Rino Marconi III, Liza (Angel) Mariscal, Candice (Ryan) Wilkes, John (Alyssa) Alexander, Joseph (Vanessa) Alexander, Courtney Alexander, Michael (Gaby) Moralez, Roxanna (Richard) Choza, and Anthony Vega; eighteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
